Looks like the Arcam AV888 is supported over serial. The AVR series has Ethernet and Serial ports -- any plan to add sup — Staff replied: “Usually the protocols are the same but we don't have any information on that model and whether its protocol might be identical. Some manufacturers like Yamaha use completely different protocols on IP versus Serial.”

Looks like the Arcam AV888 is supported over serial. The AVR series has Ethernet and Serial ports -- any plan to add support for these in the future? Is it something I could program myself or have they been tested and performed poorly? I'm specifically thinking of the AVR400

Usually the protocols are the same but we don't have any information on that model and whether its protocol might be identical. Some manufacturers like Yamaha use completely different protocols on IP versus Serial. If you know the port it listens on, try connecting to it with Manual IP on that port selecting the Arcam 888 set.
