Where are the control screens for each of my devices?

In short

Roomie shows a device's controls, such as transport buttons, menus and the number pad, inside an Activity that uses that device. A room with only its Power Off Activity has nothing to open yet. Create an Activity for each thing you watch or listen to, such as "Watch Apple TV" or "Watch Blu-ray", and the controls for those devices appear when it runs.

Why Activities come first

Roomie is built around what you want to do rather than a page per device. Starting an Activity powers on the right equipment, sets inputs, and opens an Action Panel with the controls for the source you're using, with volume going to the receiver or soundbar.

Coming from iRule or hand-built pages

You don't need to build pages by hand. Roomie generates each Action Panel from the devices in the Activity, and you can rearrange it, add or remove modules, and put specific commands on custom buttons in the Action Panel design editor.

Editing vs. running

Activities are edited in Settings › Activities, but they run from the room. Tap the Activity's tile on the Room Layout to start it and see its controls.
