Hey there.

I’m super new to Roomie and love it already.

I use tivimate for watching TV. How can I set an activity to turn the tivimate app on my fire tv?

And is it possible to setup a TV guide with shortcuts to my favourite tv channels?

On the Nvidia Shield (another Android device), I use Application Launch / ar.tvplayer.tv to open TiviMate. Maybe this will work on the FIreTV. I may have a FireTV laying around, I can test later.
