Question 2013-11 · older version

I'm interested in using Roomie but I need to figure out which devices have IP control support and which devices I'll need to control via an iTach.

I have a Sony KDL-NX55810 that isn't listed in the IP compatibility list, but I've seen a video review where someone is using one. Can anyone tell me if IP control is supported for this device?

Thanks

Roomie Staff 2013-11 · older version

Sony TV models prior to 2013 did have some degree of IP control which is supported by Roomie. None of them however support power control via IP so it is generally simplest to ignore the older IP control and treat them as IR devices. Beginning with the 2013 models that we list, Sony IP control now includes power control as well and thus they can be fully controlled via IP. That model is not a 2013 model.

Thank you.
