In short

Everytime I start the activity, the Samsung keeps displaying a message about allowing a new remote for the tv. — Staff replied: “That was a Samsung bug with Samsung apps they fixed a week or two ago. Not related to Roomie.”

Question 2013-02 · older version

Everytime I start the activity, the Samsung keeps displaying a message about allowing a new remote for the tv. I thought it would ask once, but it asks every time!

Anyone know how to make it stop?

That was a Samsung bug with Samsung apps they fixed a week or two ago. Not related to Roomie.

So I need to do a firmware upgrade?

Or perhaps a restart. Also, make sure to clear out the existing approved remote list as the Samsung bug could cause that to become quite a mess (in the menus on your TV).
