In short

I've got an Onkyo 709 and Sony Bravia HX823. The oRemote app lets me use HDMI CEC to turn on the TV but I can't work out — Staff replied: “The codes for Onkyo TV RIHD will be in the next main library update which should be in the next day or two. Thank you.”

Question 2012-07 · older version

I've got an Onkyo 709 and Sony Bravia HX823. The oRemote app lets me use HDMI CEC to turn on the TV but I can't work out which command to use on Roomie Remote to do this.

I also have a Virgin Media TiVo box. This supports standby as an IP command but I can't see which button to use to switch on.

Does anyone have insight into either of the above?

Thanks

The codes for Onkyo TV RIHD will be in the next main library update which should be in the next day or two.

Thank you.

I have a similar setup but with Integar 80.2 and Sony Barvia HX923 - can't manage to figure out how to get the HDMI CEC function to turn on the TV.

What command is needed from roomie?

Thanks in advance

As a caveat, HDMI CEC very rarely works. If you do get it working, it would be via the commands in the Onkyo command set prefixed with the targeted device type such as "TV POWER ON".
