In short

I tried auto discovery and manual with ip and port 19999, but no luck. — Staff replied: “Should be pretty much identical to the 103. We'd suggest first getting the Oppo app working to verify that you've setup the player properly and are using the correct IP, etc.”

Should be pretty much identical to the 103. We'd suggest first getting the Oppo app working to verify that you've setup the player properly and are using the correct IP, etc.

Got it to work except for power on

Power on doesn't work you have to use power toggle instead.

One note here as we just helped someone get this working. Make sure when adding the 103/105 via Manual IP to select the "All Models IP" command set instead of the "BDP Series" command set. The first is for IP control, the latter is for serial only. (This of course will be obviated in 1.8 with auto-discovery.)
