Question 2013-12 · older version

I have two separate rooms with various components, all older technology with IR controls (via Xantech). Can I use the iTach Ethernet to IR adapter and iTach to Xantech Distribution block connector to control both rooms. I have a Xantech distribution block in each room, connected to each other. Will the Roomie be able to control the components discretely, even if on the same wired systems?

I think you need an adapter to connect an iTach output to Xanatech input (roomieremote.com/store/itach ... cable.html) but everything you describe should be supported by Roomie. You could use different IR outputs form the iTach for different rooms if you wanted (e.g. if you have the same cable box model in two rooms and don't want commands for one to control the other).
