In short

Does anybody know the maximum length of the IR emitter cable run(cat6)? I need to send it about 100'. — Staff replied: “100' shouldn't be an issue. We have some extension cables here: Xantech has all kinds of IR distribution blocks like that, one of which is on that page, if you need to repeat the signal along the way.”

Does anybody know the maximum length of the IR emitter cable run(cat6)? I need to send it about 100'. Can you also recommend a good IR block for IP Flex if it turns out to be too long.

Thanks

100' shouldn't be an issue. We have some extension cables here:

Xantech has all kinds of IR distribution blocks like that, one of which is on that page, if you need to repeat the signal along the way.

Thank you.

I am running 80' around the house ON THE OUTSIDE under clapboards without a problem. So temp etc isn't a problem

I used a Rat Shack 80' headphone extender cable
