I am having difficulty incorporating this old receiver into a small system in my library. I am using an Itach Ethernet to send ir signals to the Pioneer and to an older Samsung flat screen. Source is from AppleTV that is directly controlled.

I have a successful activity that turns on the tv and the AppleTV but will not power on the receiver. When I turn on the receiver manually all the Roomie controls (vol, mute etc) in the activity work fine. Not sure what to do next and hope someone can steer me in the right direction.

Using the Pioneer receiver for audio which is similar to our older Pioneer box and activating other video devices commands first, we had to add several delays between the Pioneer commands to get the activity to work properly.
