How can I clone/customize an IP device?

Question

I want to create a device with some codes removed so that a collapse button is cleaner.

I.e. For INPUT I only want the ones visible that I actually use.

I'd also like to do that for INDIGO devices so that I might toggle lights using a collapse button.

For IR devices it allows you to build a new one but that option doesn't seem to exist for IP controlled device. (Manually entered IP).
