Question 2014-08 · older version

I have a display and non-IR AV switch for old-skool game stations (i.e. NES 1, Super NES) and I'd like to create a screen that shows the input mapping for each (i.e. HDMI 1 for Wii, HDMI 2 for DirecTV, etc.) to help people get through the manual steps. What's the best way to accomplish this? Thanks!

Roomie Staff 2014-08 · older version

The simplest way to add arbitrarily large instructions to a Virtual Remote would be a custom background image.

Another way would be to use the DDK to build a custom remote with custom button positions combined with a custom background. The straight up custom background is certainly the simpler choice.

Thank you.
