In short

I inherited a Digi One SP IP/RS232 device and was wondering if it could be used with Roomie. — Staff replied: “We have only prior user second hand comments on devices like that which is that they seem to work. We see no reason why they wouldn't work, but we don't test with them.”

Question 2012-08 · older version

I inherited a Digi One SP IP/RS232 device and was wondering if it could be used with Roomie. It seems to be fully configurable. Is there some guideline as to the interface requirements?

We have only prior user second hand comments on devices like that which is that they seem to work. We see no reason why they wouldn't work, but we don't test with them. Basically, you'd have to figure out what port it presents the serial interface on and then add it via Manual IP on that port, and then select the appropriate command set.
