Won't automatically recognize Panasonic Blu-ray

First of all, I think I'll love this product once I get it configured.

I have a Panasonic DMP-BDT310 Blu-ray player that Roomie will not automatically recognize. I confirmed the player is connected properly to the IR router (gets Netflix just fine). I confirmed the LAN is in use. I confirmed the firmware is the most current. Roomie recognized my Pioneer receiver immediately. I was able to manually st the IP address for the blu-ray, but now it seems some of the features aren't available, i.e. "Power Device" doesn't show the Panasonic player. What am I doing wrong?

We'd recommend setting up that generic manufacturer app first which has its own support page and helps make sure the player is properly setup on your network. Once that works, Roomie will also work with that model.

Thanks! Through the settings on the Panasonic, I was able to get Roomie to auto-recognize. But I think I'll still get the app you recommended.
