I have a Vivitek D853w. It is ethernet enabled and can be controlled over IP. I was wondering if anyone had experience controlling this from Roomie. I haven't set it up yet personally and was wondering if it will be possible. Looks like Roomie controls everything else I own. So It would be really nice if this one thing also works. Please help. Thank you.

I briefly did some looking into controlling Vivitek projectors at work when we were considering them for our interactive whiteboards (we ended up going with NEC instead.)

As I recall, Vivitek's IP control protocol is the same as their RS-232 protocol, but I fail to remember over what port. Sorry!

Their RS-232 document is here: vivitek.com.tw/upfile/down/2 ... 526966.pdf
