This thread is a feature request from 2012, preserved from the original Roomie Remote forum. It reflects what users were asking for at the time — many requests from this era have since shipped in Roomie Remote X. See current compatibility for today's device support.

In short

before using roomie i used the logitech link.. roomie is a 100 times better but one feature i really miss is the search — A member replied: “I would appreciate this functionality as well.  ”

before using roomie i used the logitech link.. roomie is a 100 times better but one feature i really miss is the search function in the guide…. it would be great to have the option to search for a show you know is on air, and not having to browse the entire guide to find it.. like a nba game or anything else.

I would appreciate this functionality as well.

Would be awesome to be able to search the guide and choose to record things to DVR from the guide

Basic guide searching would be nice. I.e.: "Duck dynasty". Show the channels and air times.
