Toshiba control and Denon volume punch through

In short

I have my receiver set up to control volume on all devices. However, when I bring up my Toshiba DVD player, there is not — Staff replied: “Sounds like you're not using Activities and probably are accessing the remote directly. We recommend watching the Tutorial video linked on the right sidebar of this page that goes into detail about how to create Devices ”

Sounds like you're not using Activities and probably are accessing the remote directly. We recommend watching the Tutorial video linked on the right sidebar of this page that goes into detail about how to create Devices and Activities.

That is not the case. I am setting up activities for each device, and I use the activity to begin the function. The control for both my cable and apple tv have volume, this control does not.

We can only make guesses from your description. Emailing your configuration to support would be a much better way to determine the configuration issue.
