Hello! I've searched the forum, for this particular projector but didn't find anything. — Staff replied: “It's listed on the website for IR. If it has serial or IP, it would work, but we don't list it because we're not aware of that being the case.”

Hello!

I've searched the forum, for this particular projector but didn't find anything. I found some other Sony Projectors..

Has anyone been able to Simple Control to control the VPL-VW285ES via Ethernet and/or Serial.. I'm in the process of purchasing one, and want to make sure I can control it..

It's listed on the website for IR. If it has serial or IP, it would work, but we don't list it because we're not aware of that being the case.

Yes it will work. You can use the VW600ES IP control and it will work fine. I have used it on the VW885ES and VW385ES. So the VW285ES will work.
