Hi,

I am new to rs232 controls. I have a wifi2Serial itach and it's working fine.

Someone provided me with on/off codes for my projector.

Since I had the documentation for my projector's RS232 interface,... I programmed the rest of the remote codes and they all work. However, When I send a command there is a 40 second or so window before the RS232 interface can accept another command.

Maybe that's just how control of my projector via RS232 is designed but I think more likely I got something wrong in configuration.

If anyone has tips for me to figure this problem out please let me know.

-Brian

Perhaps send us your RoomieCodes file to look it over. Lots of different possible explanations for that, but one of them is not that it would be normal. We can't imagine a device intentionally behaving that way.
