Can you guys work with Samsung to enable IP control? — Staff replied: “We looked at this and don't see IP control on that model. Even if I had found something, it wouldn't be able to turn the player on – the Ethernet port is completely dead when turned off.”

We looked at this and don't see IP control on that model. Even if I had found something, it wouldn't be able to turn the player on – the Ethernet port is completely dead when turned off. We recommend IR control via Simple Blaster for this model.

The good news is that Samsung finally after all these years introduced the ability to turn on (at least some) of their 2016 TV models via pure IP control. That obviously didn't carry over to this player.
