Question 2012-05 · older version

Hi, I want to control my reciever by roomie through rs232 connection and I also want to be able to control it by my harmony remote through the IR-in port ,in the back of the receiver. I was wondering if I have both connections in place, can I control the receiver with both remotes and one connection is not going to deactivate or even interfere with the other. By the way my receiver is pioneer elite sc-25.

Thanks.

That should work just fine. We often control devices by multiple methods for various reasons.
