I found some old postings from 2012 on the Niles ZR6; however, has is anyone using the recent SimpleControl version 5 to — A member replied: “I am using a ZR6 via an itach serial adapter to the serial port of the ZR6. I think the 2 way volume feedback worked with the old system but on some sources but not all the time. Never really figured it out.”

I found some old postings from 2012 on the Niles ZR6; however, has is anyone using the recent SimpleControl version 5 to control their ZR6? If so, exactly how is it connected and how is it working? Does it allow you to control most functions on all six zone? Is there still no two way "feedback' to see the status of a zone (volume, source...)? Thank you in advance!

I am using a ZR6 via an itach serial adapter to the serial port of the ZR6. I think the 2 way volume feedback worked with the old system but on some sources but not all the time. Never really figured it out. I am still learning the new format but for the most part the commands I had prior mapped over with the new version.
