Has there been any updates to controlling the nvidia shield console? I know there is IR control of it so I wouldn't think it would be that hard to add? If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

It's in the IR library now actually. The website listing for IR compatibility is a few months out of date. The actual IR library has tens of thousands of additional improvements, but the change over to the new website has not yet been updated to reflect that.
