In short

I just installed my new projector, a JVC RS57. I am unable to get it to work with Roomie. — A member replied: “The RS57 isn't explicitly listed, but this year's non-pro versions (x500, x700, x900) are, and the ip control should be identical. I just recently got my new JVC RS4910 and am successfully controlling it with Roomie.”

Question 2014-01 · older version

I just installed my new projector, a JVC RS57. I am unable to get it to work with Roomie. I dont see the projector listed in the Roomie compatible devices. Would it be possible to control my RS57 with Roomie (ip) ?

The RS57 isn't explicitly listed, but this year's non-pro versions (x500, x700, x900) are, and the ip control should be identical. I just recently got my new JVC RS4910 and am successfully controlling it with Roomie. As is specified in the compatibility notes, there is not auto detect for these units, so you must setup with manual ip/port. Also, make sure that you set authentication to PJREQ, which is at the bottom of the device config and easy to overlook.
