Hello: I'm trying to configure my FanLinc into Roomie running off an ISY 994i, I do have the odd issue that both the mot — A member replied: “While I'm not a Fanlinc expert I don't think you can use a fader for the motor. I believe you have to set up scenes for each fan setting and use those to control the fan.”

Hello:

I'm trying to configure my FanLinc into Roomie running off an ISY 994i, I do have the odd issue that both the motor and the light have the same address. I can get the light to work fine, but I'm not sure how I would differentiate the motor inside Roomie to have a separate fader for it.

While I'm not a Fanlinc expert I don't think you can use a fader for the motor. I believe you have to set up scenes for each fan setting and use those to control the fan.

Yeah I do believe it only has 4 settings. That makes sense. I'll do that. Great idea, thanks!
