Can I either extend the IR cables or purchase longer ones? I have a projector on one side of the room and a automatic screen on the other. Even with the IR blaster, I can't consistently control either. My other options is to purchase 2 more WIFI2IR and place them on the individual devices. I'm wondering if I purchase a 50 ft 3.5mm extension, if it would function correctly.

All you need is a 2 conductor cable. Cut the end off of the ir cable and splice it back together.
