Question 2012-11 · older version

I'm using version 1.6.1 and cannot pull device status for any Insteon device controlled by ISY-99. I have read the related postings on the forum, which suggest making one device the default in the room and opening a remote. This does not pull the status for me though. Any suggestions?

Can you normally control that device ID with for instance a .LIGHT ON command? If so, specifying that as the Default Device and then setting the ISY as the Opens Remote device for an Activity is the way to see the Virtual Remote with feedback.

I can control the light. I have set up the device as default and set up ISY device as the Opens Remote device. I can control the light, but no stshows is displayed in the virtual remote.

We're not sure what "stshows" means in your note, but regardless support can diagnose the issue properly if you contact them using the link on the right side of this page.
