Question 2012-12 · older version

I have been using iCloud instead of dropbox lately but noticed that after I created my first custom device that all my iCloud linked devices updated the room correctly but the custom device did not transfer. Using dorpbox backup/restore the custom device transfers fine. Is this a known limitation (looked on the forums but it seemed like this would be expected to work)

Thanks,

Bill

That should work, but we're pretty sure we've seen cases of that anecdotally. The one item that definitely is not intended to sync via iCloud is custom images. If you change those, you want to do a one-time Dropbox Restore. Other than that iCloud is supposed to sync everything, but if RoomieCodes seems like it didn't sync for now just restore from Dropbox.
