"Hue" slider shows color for Philips Hue Bulbs

This thread is a feature request from 2013, preserved from the original Roomie Remote forum. It reflects what users were asking for at the time — many requests from this era have since shipped in Roomie Remote X. See current compatibility for today's device support.

In short

Right now I have no way of knowing what color a light will be using the hue slider unless the light is on. — A member replied: “I agree, the hue integration could just use a few fine tuning features to make it much better. Being able to see color is one.”

Right now I have no way of knowing what color a light will be using the hue slider unless the light is on. Programming an activity to set the lights to a specific color takes some guesswork to figure out what the correct numerical value of that color is. It'd be nice of the slider on the hue option would show a color palette, and even better if it could also show the value of the color, to aid in activity creation.

I agree, the hue integration could just use a few fine tuning features to make it much better. Being able to see color is one.

 

Another would be to just have preset colors (like the hue app does: relax, reading, etc) to allow making functions easier.

Also to be able to create settings for groups of lights would be nice.
