Generic RTSP Camera Support

This thread is a feature request from 2015, preserved from the original Roomie Remote forum. It reflects what users were asking for at the time — many requests from this era have since shipped in Roomie Remote X. See current compatibility for today's device support.

I know we can feed the internal roomie browser (webkit) an RTSP url and Roomie will happily pop-up a current stream (which is awesome!) but ultimately defeating to see you only allow Foscam and Logitech to be added. Can we simply move the adoption over for generic RTSP via a URL?

Also just to clarify, the "internal Roomie browser" that displays RTSP is not WebKit. WebKit does not provide RTSP. You can't load any of that in Safari. We provide that.
