Good afternoon,

Now that the FireCore team has released a beta of their AirControl app that allows the control of an AppleTV over IP, using HTTP, it would be great if Roomie could take advantage of this and build it in the program.

Thanks!

We can't realistically support that kind of obviously illicit usage of the Apple TV as we're in the App Store and must play by the rules.

The codeset at their link looks trivial if you wanted to add it as a custom device however:

Fair enough.

Thank you! I am not sure if I am up to the task, but I'll read up. I'm sure someone in the community will come up with something.

We're including a command set we developed for this in the next library update. We're not endorsing using that tool, but simply knowing how to control it is reasonable.

If you'd like a copy of the command set before it goes live sometime in the next week or so, feel free to email support.
