You should be able to record a show or setup a reminder from the integrated guide. — Staff replied: “We agree and this is probably coming for some specific DVR models in the medium term future. However, it is not generally a feature we can just add for everybody as it requires some backend support.”

We agree and this is probably coming for some specific DVR models in the medium term future. However, it is not generally a feature we can just add for everybody as it requires some backend support. Our top three focus areas on this right now are TiVo, Dish, and DirecTV. Not clear which order and it's mostly a matter of feasibility in each case, not time.
