Can't get roomie to control xbmc

I have Plex on my laptop and Roomie controls it with no problems. But I want to move to xbmc. — A member replied: “Hi, You need to activate the webserver in XBMC to control with Roomie. neospin”

I have Plex on my laptop and Roomie controls it with no problems. But I want to move to xbmc. I installed and it works but cannot get Roomie to control it.

I'm using the same ip address as the one i used for Plex, I've tried both port 80 and 8080, I've used the JSON command set as well the one marked server but still can't get the virtual remote to control xbmc. Again, plex is working fine.

Any ideas? Any settings I need to make to xbmc itself? Thanks.

Hi,

You need to activate the webserver in XBMC to control with Roomie.
