Question 2014-07 · older version

I am looking at upgrading my CCTV DVR from a 4 channel to 8 channel. Currently I only have HTTP access to the unit and not the specific cameras. Is there a particular format, protocol or brands that I should be looking for to fully integrate with Roomie?

Logitech Alert is auto-discovered.

Modern Foscam cameras are not auto-discovered but work well and include PTZ controls.

In principle, many other cameras will also work fine, but we do not test against them. Internally, we should be able to support any RTSP camera such as the ones from this list that also provides the appropriate URL you would need to use with Roomie:

Thank you.
