Just purchased this TV and attempted to control with RR. It finds the device on the network but when attempting to control it displays a message regarding enabling Developer Mode and ADB debugging. On this TV you enable the developer mode by going to About TV and pressing OK several times to activate. There’s no option to enable ADB debugging within that menu. Has something changed in recent firmwares or am I missing where this option is?

Anyone else help with this so I can get control via RR?

I believe with the new units, the several button pushes un-hide the developer menu selection. So if the button presses work you should get a message and then you'll need to navigate to the developer options menu that will now show under My Fire TV. I know the TVs and Sticks vary but see if you can't find the new menu item which should have ADB on/off in it.

Thanks Dave,

The TV states developer mode is active but I obviously need to find the developer options somewhere in the menu system. It didn’t appear to show within the About TV option where I enabled developer mode.

I’ll need to investigate this further when I have more time. Thanks for the pointers.

Thanks again Dave for the pointer. Once you enable the developer mode within About TV a new menu appears with Developer options.

All now working well.

You're welcome. Glad it worked out!

So IP control via RR working well until the TV is switched off. I can't switch back on with RR only the Fire TV remote. Have made sure option to switch on with LAN and WiFi is on but it doesn't respond to a power on command or WOL command. TV is hard wired for connection not using WiFi.

Have you come across this issue?

Ignore above. After some further experimenting got it working using WOL with MAC address.
