I have 7.2.0 on my iPhone and iPad. I can control an Amazon FireStick from my iPhone but not my iPad. All home, room and device settings are the same on both the iPhone and iPad. What am I missing?

This is run of the mill support so should be moderated out. However, since enough people run into this it's always good to post a reminder even though it's everywhere in the Setup Guide.

This is a classic symptom of not setting up a Primary Controller. FireTV supports 1 connection at a time. Setting up a Primary properly handles this. So when one device works and another does not, that's what's going on. See the Setup Guide where this is discussed extensively.
