I have an rf based security system and I'm pretty sure what you want can't be done (roomie doesn't support RF - 99+% of devices won't do it). If you come up with a solution for some kind of 'learning RF' to IR transmitter let us know!

If you're willing to sacrifice a remote, maybe a Global Cache contact closure bridging the remote buttons?
