Question 2013-02 · older version

Hello,

It could be great if you could add to your database new IP/RS232 codes for JVC projectors X30/X70/X90/RS45/55/65/X35/X55/X75/X95.

I need codes to use the lens memory function.

The JVC document is here : support.jvc.com/consumer/support ... lGuide.pdf

Command :

Lens Memory - Cycles through Lens Memory

Pages: Select/Save/Name Edit

Hex Code : 21 89 01 52 43 37 33 44 34 0A

ASCII : D4

Commands :

Lens Memory Save - Memory 1 - Hex Code : 21 89 01 49 4E 4D 53 30 0A

Lens Memory Save - Memory 2 - Hex Code : 21 89 01 49 4E 4D 53 31 0A

Lens Memory Save - Memory 3 - Hex Code : 21 89 01 49 4E 4D 53 32 0A

Lens Memory Select - Memory 1 - Hex Code : 21 89 01 49 4E 4D 4C 30 0A

Lens Memory Select - Memory 2 - Hex Code : 21 89 01 49 4E 4D 4C 31 0A

Lens Memory Select - Memory 3 - Hex Code : 21 89 01 49 4E 4D 4C 32 0A

I'm a newbie with roomie but maybe it's possible that I add them directly, if yes let me know how.

Best regards

Eric

UHT are you able to tell me if you had to change any setting for wake on lag for your X95?

I have just got mine and have it working well via iP for everything apart from turning on.

i was thinking maybe it could be to do with the three way hand shake?

thanks very much in advance

Hi Laurie,

You're right the power on function via IP don't work anymore on JVC projectors.

Few months ago it was ok when I had a X75.

I did not have projector during 1 month and then after I had a X55.

When I installed it I noticed that the power on fiunction was not ok anymore but I did know if it was a problem with the X55 only but now I think that all models are affected.

I don't know why this function is broken...

I will create a post to ask the roomie team to check it.

So please post on it to confirm the problem.

Best regards

Eric

Laurie,

It's now ok for me the power on via IP is ok again.

We need to deactivate the Eco mode on our JVC projector.

Best regards

You're welcome laurie, and thanks to Roomie, they post the tip in the other post in only few minutes, good job and fantastic support from Roomie !

For my part I control my OPPO players only with RS232, it was better when I did my tests than with IP but maybe now a lot of things has changed with new OPPO firmware and library updates of roomie, I don't know ?
